General Terms and Conditions

Selling prices

All prices are in Swiss francs, including 8.1% VAT. Shipping costs will be charged additionally. Availability, assortment, conditions and prices are subject to change.

Webshop payments

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Postfinance and Twint as online payment methods. It is possible to request an invoice. This is entered manually by us after completion of your online purchase and sent to you by e-mail. All purchases made via the store must be paid in advance.

Payment on site

In addition to cash payment in Swiss francs, we accept the major debit and credit card formats, as well as Twint. For new customers, we reserve the right to charge directly for the goods or to request advance payment in case of delivery.

Change or cancel the order

If your order is adjusted or canceled by you after the payment process, we reserve the right to charge any commission and processing fees or to deduct them from a credit note.

Interest in late payements and reminder fees

If you receive an invoice with a delivery of goods and are late in paying, we will charge interest on arrears of 5% from the second reminder onwards. From the third reminder onwards, we will also charge a reminder fee of CHF 20.00.

Availability

We strive to keep the store as up to date as possible. Nevertheless, we cannot always guarantee complete availability of the offer due to limited quantities. If a certain vintage of a wine is no longer available, you will automatically receive the next vintage.

Delivery

The delivery takes place via post, Vino Transport or Planzer Transporte. Based on the quantity of your order and the place of delivery, we will select the most suitable supplier for you.
Delivery abroad is not possible via the webshop. Please contact us directly.‍

Delivery time

Normally you will receive your order within a week, in exceptional cases it may take longer. Especially in summer, we avoid external locations over the weekend; the goods are usually shipped at the beginning of the week.

Collection

If you wish to collect the wine, it must be collected within 90 days of the order date. If this is not possible, we will deliver the wine to you for the cost of delivery.

We recommend making an appointment by e-mail or telephone so that someone is on site.

Complaints

Please check the shipment upon receipt. The delivery is deemed to have been accepted 8 days after the delivery date. Notification of defects must be made in writing within this period.

Refusal of acceptance

If a customer does not accept the goods ordered by him, any return costs will be charged to the client.

Age restriction on the remittance of alcohol

The law prohibits the handover of wine to under 16 and spirits to under 18-year-olds. In case of doubt, we check your age by means of an ID (or passport) check when you order online or buy on site.

This includes the delivery of wine by a supplier: our partners have been informed that the delivery of wine to people under the age of 16 is not permitted by law. In the event of delivery, please ensure that a person of legal age receives alcohol.

Data protection

Your personal details are used to ensure the smooth processing of your order. Required information (address, telephone, e-mail) will be forwarded to the carrier and the commissioned payment institution for processing the order but will not be used for any other purposes. All other details remain with us and are not passed on to third parties.

Online recommendations for the wines

Food recommendations, drinking temperature and shelf life are for guidance only and are subject to the personal judgment and taste preferences of the customer. The customer is responsible for the correct, long-term storage of the wines, for which we cannot be held liable.

Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. In the event of disputes, Leuk/VS shall be the place of jurisdiction.
